Generate public support to create successful bond referendum. Led entire public awareness and bond process for a successful vote.
Navigated a complex Town Board and zoning approval process. Led zoning approvals that included Board of Appeals, Planning Board, Town Board and Architectural Control Board; created operationally correct facility that met or exceeded all regulatory requirements.
Utilize the existing site for a new state-of-the-art faciltiy that would better house the apparatus, personnel and maintain the existing heli-pad. Carefully sited the building to take advantage of the site shape. Improved response and 1st responder parking while expanded access to heli-pad.
Negotiate with adjacent school district to maintain and use right-of-way between properties. Created additional space for training, response and access.
Control the size and scope of the faciility to maintain a budget for new equipment. Analyzed every aspect of the project through vlaue-engineering in order to maintain the budget.
