Accomplishments
Financial Management
Develop a site master plan to provide for sale or lease of additional land while maintaining response. Emergency response and first responder access are designed to utilize entry and internal road planned for second user (medical facility); created shared roads, parking, utilities and drainage improvements.
Donations/Grants
Work with Capital Funds Committee to develop opportunities for funding the project. Developed program for donated services during design and donated materials and labor during construction.
Approvals
Navigate complex zoning, utilities, D.O.T. and County Board issues. Maintained schedule and submission requirements with all agencies; assisted Owner to secure permits and approvals.
Site
Utilize a low-lying site with shallow ground water. Spread the building out into specific program areas to maintain a single story; reduced building mass while utilizing cost effective spread footings.
